NEW YORK – Danville, Ind. native Kaycee Marshall will be featured on the TODAY Show at 10 a.m. Friday.
Marshall recently graduated from Kent State University with a degree in fashion design and hopes to design adaptive clothing for people with disabilities.
Marshall was born with sacral agenesis and transverse of the great vessels. She was rushed to Riley Children’s Health immediately after being born and has since had multiple major surgeries.
Those surgeries included complete bladder and bowel reconstruction – which gave her the independence she needed to go to college, study abroad and chase her dreams to design clothes.
Marshall uses a wheelchair fulltime and knows there is a lack of adaptive clothing options for women like her. So, she’s using her passion to change that.
