TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — Prior to its offical opening Tuesday, McAlister’s Deli will host
a special luncheon for members of The Veterans Affairs of Terre Haute.
This ticketed event is the company’s way of saying “thank you” on Memorial Day to those in the community who have served our country, according to a press release.
The Terre Haute McAlister’s, 3830 US Hwy. 41, will be the first area restaurant for Southern Rock Restaurants, LLC and its 83rd location. Southern Rock Restaurants owns and operates McAlister’s restaurants throughout Tennessee, Mississippi, Missouri, Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois and Ohio.
Known for its genuine hospitality, McAlister’s is home to handcrafted sandwiches, always-fresh salads, giant stuffed spuds and McAlister’s Famous Sweet Tea™.
“We see Terre Haute as an exciting and growing community, and we have worked for three years to find the perfect location,” said David Blackburn, CEO for Southern Rock Restaurants. “We have found this location and are ready to open our doors on May 28.”
On Tuesday, the Mayor of Terre Haute will join the restaurant team for a special ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:30 a.m.
Opening celebrations include free tea for a year punch cards (*one tea per week) for the first 83 guests in line at or before 10:30 a.m.
McAlister’s in Terre Haute will serve guests from 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
